Nicolina M Keane Obituary

Nicolina (Tagliaferri) Keane passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 16th at the young age of 94.


She was predeceased by her parents, Gerardo and Filomena Tagliaferri, sisters Mary, Edith, and Helen, brothers Steve, Anthony and Dominic. Nicki is survived by her daughter Lori Keane, brother Gerardo Tagliaferri, and her granddoggy Ella. She is also survived by 3 generations of nieces, nephews and cousins, and her longtime friend Sandy Johnson. Nicki worked for many years as a meter maid for the Binghamton Police Department. An active member of the Women of the Moose, Binghamton Chapter 411, for 63 years, she served in many different capacities, and could be found playing shuffleboard into her 90's. She loved doting on family, baking biscotti and pizzelles, and entertaining. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life to be held on August 19th at 4:00 PM at the Loyal Order of the Moose - Binghamton Lodge 1013, 224 Henry St. Binghamton, N.Y. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, Monday August 21, 2023 at 1 p.m. Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano will officiate.
