Richard (Dick) Arthur Mills, 88 of Chenango Forks passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 13th 2023. He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Rose (Mollo) Mills and wife of 27 years, Beverly (Travis) Mills; as well as his parents Paul and Julia Mills and siblings Paul, John, Robert and Nancy. Richard is survived by his sister Maude (Mills) Adams, sister-in-law Beverly (Mollo) Mills, brothers-in-law Joseph and Angelo Mollo, Children Paul Mills, Diane (Michael) Moschek, Catherine (John) Leary, Margaret (David) Latta, Patty Mills, Edward (Kathryn) Mills Sr, and Michael (Theresa) Mills, as well as 10 adoring grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Richard regularly attended service at St. Frances of Assisi Parish and was a long time employee of Anitec and Lowes where he made quick friends with everyone he came in contact with. He was also a founding member of the KAA club where he coached softball every summer for many years. An avid supporter and member of the Chenango Forks Wrestling Program where he watched his sons and grandsons thrive, as well as a devoted Dodgers fan.

Those who are lucky enough to have known Richard, can attest to the exceptional husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend he has spent his lifetime being. His legacy will live on in the lives he undoubtedly help mold through his generosity, hard work and unwavering love and faith.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Chenango Street, Hillcrest, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A.
