Obituary of Marjorie A. Ryan

Marjorie "Marge" Ryan, 74, passed away April 16, 2023 of natural causes.
A graduate of SUNY Geneseo and the University of Scranton, Marge was retired from a long career with Binghamton School District's Special Education division where she dedicated her efforts to champion for children.
Immediate family survivors include sister, Mary Lou Ryan, brother James E. Ryan, Jr. (Sue) as well as nieces, nephews and their children. Marge is preceded in death by parents James E. and Margaret Ryan, brother Joseph Ryan and his wife Joanne.
Marge will be remembered for her great humor and her generosity in caring for others in need. With a soft spot for mistreated and abandoned animals, Marge continually provided a secure and loving home for dogs needing rescue.
In lieu of flowers it would best to honor Marge's memory with expressions of sympathy being sent to The Humane Society, 167 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903.
Family and friends will gather at J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St. Binghamton, Monday, April 24th from 10-11a.m. Entombment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
