Obituary of Patricia A. Hobart
Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patricia Ann Hobart (Patty), of Binghamton, NY, has been called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She loved her family without reservation and enjoyed all of the holidays, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and especially her grandchildren when they were all together. She spoke fondly of her childhood and growing up in Susquehanna, PA, her heritage from Hungary and her trip to Europe. She was very active in all functions at her beloved St. Johns Church in Binghamton where she sang in the choir with her husband Edward, worked in the school cafeteria, never missed a rummage sale and always looked forward to Christmas midnight mass (the weather would never stop her!). Patricia enjoyed the 1000 Islands with her family, looked forward to getting out in the boat, fishing, attending mass at St. Mary's in Clayton, NY and their beautiful outdoor cathedral. Her wedding cakes were "world" famous and she never missed a detail in her creations. Patty loved paling around with her best friend, Janet Schleider, going to outdoor concerts, out to eat and enjoying life. She was an astute member of the Red Hat Society as well.
Patricia is survived by her son Thomas and his wife Donna Endwell, NY, their son Michael and his fiancée` Alexandra Reichard of Homer, NY, her daughter Teresa and Teresa's' children, Brendan, Patrik and Victoria, all of Binghamton and son in law, Tracy Davis. Horseheads, NY. She is predeceased by her loving husband Edward of 35 years, her daughter Cynthia, her Mother Anna and Father Henry. While Patricia will be missed greatly by all of us, she will always remain with us. It is only when we allow ourselves, to let the memories of our loved ones fade away, that they will truly be gone.
