Michael R. Everling, 67, of Kirkwood, NY passed away at his home on March 6, 2023. Michael was born in Binghamton, NY to Charles and Nancy Everling on October 8, 1955. He was a 1974 graduate of Susquehanna Valley. He entered the Air Force after High School and work as an electrician. He worked as a forklift mechanic for many years and then worked for Susquehanna Valley School District, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed his family and friends, the outdoors, camping, NASCAR, and his dog Bailey. Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cinde; Children Douglas (Heidi) Everling and Angela (Joseph) Reiser; Siblings Judy (Mark) Tillman, Kevin (Helen) Everling, and Timothy Everling. Also survived by his grandchildren that he adored, Charlotte, Jack, Baya, Lorelei and Samuel; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday March, 25, 2023 at 2 p.m. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday March 25 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. A private burial will be held at a later time.
