Obituary of Michael C. Aftuck

Michael C. Aftuck, 20, of Apalachin, died unexpectedly Monday, January 27, 2014. He was predeceased by his mother, Teal Castetter; and his grandfather, Michael D. Aftuck. He is survived by his father, Michael E. Aftuck; his grandmothers, Jean Aftuck, and Tonya LaDue; loving girlfriend, Katie Marie Shumway; his uncles, Edward Aftuck, James Aftuck, and Wayne Castetter; his aunt, Kasey Castetter; a cousin, Kallie Castetter; and several other cousins; his great uncle, Edward Aftuck, FL. Mike graduated from Vestal High School, Class of 2012, and attended Tompkins Community College. He loved vintage cars, especially Corvettes. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, Tuesday at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mike may be made to Open Door Mission, 425 North Ave., Owego, NY 13827.
