He always shared fond memories of his St. Pat's classmates. He graduated from Mount St. Mary's University as a chemist, where he also met wonderful life-long friends. He loved visits back to "The Mount" and loved the Grotto there. Joe was always a hard worker. He talked of many summer jobs he held while in high school and college including work at a felt factory, as a construction worker, and painting houses. After graduating from Mount St. Mary's, Joe worked as a chemical engineer and in management and sales for GAF, Ozalid, and Anitec Image Corporation. He was a wonderful husband and father. He took great pride in his family. Joe's mom Mary (O'Neil McKinney) was one of nine children, all of whom were a very important part of his upbringing. He loved to spend time with and tell stories of all the fun times he had with his aunts and uncles. He was an avid fisherman and loved Saratoga. Joe was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas parish. He loved to attend daily mass, where he met his wife, Anne. He and Anne married when he was 80 and showed all that love can be found at any point in our lives. They have enjoyed watching the Yankees, little trips to Skaneateles, watching the wildlife on Warner Road, and spending time with the many children and grandchildren of the McKinney/ Mollen conglomerate. He has been a "good and faithful" servant, and will be missed dearly.
