Who predeceased him on August 17, 2008. Madeline and Jim were married on October 20th 1956. That's when the fun started. The kids! first came James F. [Anita] then the only daughter Suzanne[Jo Anne] closely followed by Jerry[Mel] not far after that Gary [Linda] then Richard and finally Steven[Michelle] Jim is survived by his 6 children and brother-in-law Jack Griffin and his faithful dog Sasha. Also surviving Jim are his nieces Madeline Sexton, Kate McMahon, Linda McMahon-Wilmot, Noreen McMahon and nephew Patrick McMahon. Jim was predeceased by nephew Tim Sexton and niece Terri McMahon. Jim was Grandpa to 3 beautiful girls that he cherished with his whole heart. Katelyn Brundage, who predeceased him on March 27th 2016, Dr. Hannah Brundage(Patrick Norris) and Corrie Brundage.
Jim was a retired systems analyst with over 30 years of service at IBM Endicott where he received many awards for his contributions in his field. He had many friends from work and enjoyed playing in the I.B.M. softball and basketball leagues and also YMCA basketball leagues for many years. He truly enjoyed traveling with his bride and his in-laws. They called themselves 'the Dependable 7" the group consisted of Jim and Madeline, Mary-Lou and Bill Sexton, Jack and Judy Griffin, and Noreen McMahon who was widowed from husband Mack. All except Jack Griffin passed before Jim. The group took many trips together with some of their favorite places were Atlantic City, Cape May, the Finger Lakes area and Saratoga Springs. Jim and Madeline did vacation alone sometimes with Ireland being one of their favorite trips.
Jim enjoyed his family! For many years on Sunday he would make large meals for all to enjoy. If it was during football season you could be sure the N.Y. Giants were on the TV and during baseball season it was his Yankees.
Our final thought about Dad is we don't know how you were able to do all you did for all of us but we are all so grateful for all you did and the love you have given us . We love you Dad and will miss you forever! RIP.
