Obituary of Helen A. Giorgio

Helen A. Giorgio, 91 of Binghamton passed away Friday evening December 16th, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Victor Jurgia, and stepfather John Matson. She was also predeceased by her husband Nicholas Giorgio, sisters and brother in laws, Betty and Chick Chuckoloski, Rose and Joe Babicek, and brothers, Raymond Jurgia, Victor and Peg, and John and Rose Jurgia. Helen was also predeceased by her brother and sisters-in-law, Lena and Ray Wilbur, Neil Giorgio, Paul and Marilyn Giorgio, Thomas Giorgio, and Jerry Kephart. She is survived by her children Paul and Diane Giorgio (Jupiter, FL), Nicholas Giorgio (Clearwater, FL), Ann Marie and Joseph Conaty, and Teresa and Dr. James Holler all of Binghamton, Daughter-in-law Sharmaine Giorgio (FL). Seven grandchildren: Alex Conaty, Collin (Shannon Boyle) Conaty, Rachel (Scott) Tota, Jay (Devon Kline) Holler, Claire Holler, Jordan (Anthony Paolini) Giorgio, and Camyrn Giorgio. She is also survived by her sister Mary Jane Fitch and sister and brothers-in-law, John and Carol Giorgio, Carmie Kephart and Jim Harding, Nicoletta Giorgio, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton and retired from Binghamton City Court. Helen lived for her family in so many ways over the years, and gave us many gifts. Her family continues the tradition of being together weekly for Sunday dinners. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Court Street, Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
