Bradford D. Taylor of Maine, NY was born in Binghamton, NY on October 13th, 1946, and passed away unexpectedly the day after his 76th Birthday. He was predeceased by his loving parents Douglas & Jean (Groover) Taylor, and in-laws, John & Norma (Reardon) McNalley. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Karen (McNalley) Taylor, son Brian & Julie (Towle) Taylor and their children Grace & Callahan of Geneseo, NY, daughter Stephanie & Dale Paxton and their children Logan & Madison of Waxhaw, NC, sisters Susan & John Hill of Robins, IA., Patricia & Albert Matoushek of Endicott, NY, brother William & Deborah Taylor of Spring Hills, FL, and many wonderful nieces nephews, and cousins. He was a 1965 graduate of Maine Endwell HS, and a graduate of Broome Tech while working and serving in the Army Reserves as a Staff Sgt. Brad was a longtime member and former Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Angels, now Church of the Holy Family. Often saying "I always feel better after going." He loved the community. Brad retired from Lockheed Martin after 40+ years. He cherished all the experiences and true friendships over the years. In retirement, Brad and Karen wintered in Alameda Isles in Englewood, FL, where they made many great friends. Brad always had a smile on his face and lit up a room. He was a wise story teller and true outdoorsman. He loved hunting, camping and hiking. Brad was an all-around great guy who had no problem greeting complete strangers. "Howya doing?" Brad will have to do his most important and favorite job now from heaven; He will be watching over and helping his four beautiful grandchildren. POPPY forever loves you with all his heart. He is loved and missed. The Taylor Family will receive guests at the J.A McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday November 3rd from 5-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Holy Family 3600 Phyllis Street, Endwell, Friday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to one of Brad's favorite charities: Mercy House of the Southern Tier 212 N McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, T2T.ORG.
