Obituary of Lucille M. Gallo

Lucille M. Gallo, 95, of Binghamton, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Gallo, Jr. She is survived by her children, Michael Gallo, Gregory and Patricia Gallo, Chrysa and Raymond Linsky; her grandchildren, Dr. Anthony J. Gallo, Nicholas Linsky, Theresa Gall, Christina Gallo; great-grandchildren, Don Michael and Katrina, Nathan and Niviah; and niece, Karen Allen, who had a special place in her heart. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton. "Lukey" was a great wife, friend, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. She loved her church friends and her faith in God. She loved to paint, sew, and draw. She touched the lives of many people, but the love of her husband for 71 years stands alone. She enjoyed her trips to the Thousand Islands and Jersey Shore. We would like to thank the staff of Yesteryears for giving Lucille and her family their love. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, Tuesday at 1 p.m. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
