Obituary of Pauline L. Shuba

Shuba, Pauline (Felton) Pauline (Felton) Shuba, 90, formerly of Binghamton, NY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Destin, FL. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Frank Shuba; parents, Ray and Viva Felton; sister, Elizabeth Clark; and brother, Leo Felton. She is survived by daughters Janet Valashinas of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Nancy (Ruben) Valdez of The Villages, FL. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Kristen (Kevin) Kostic, Kimberly Mathieson, George (Susan) Valashinas, Jacob Valashinas and great grandson, Grayson Valashinas along with several nieces and nephews. Pauline loved her family and all family members loved her in return. She was a gracious lady and a great role model. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends at picnics or on golf outings. Pauline was a graduate of Johnson City High School, an accomplished pianist, and retired from GE in Westover, NY. She was a member of St. James Parish in Johnson City. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
