Kathleen T. Lasky, 78, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Kathy leaves behind her devoted sister, Hope (Lasky) Boedicker, with whom she resided; sister-in-law Marilyn Lasky; nieces and nephews Kathleen (Scott) Cramer, David (Carol) Boedicker, Timothy (Marlene) Boedicker, Michael (Leslie) Boedicker, Susan Lasky, Laura (Daniel) Rinehart and Erik Lasky; great nieces and nephews Megan (Anwar) Goeres, Jessica (Adam) Wilcox, James, John and Molly Boedicker, Courtney Boyer, Nick Helstrup and Trevor and Hayden Rinehart; and the lights of her life, great great- niece and nephews Anwar and Maverick Goeres and Lauren and Luke Wilcox; as well as several cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Helen (Krajcir) Lasky, brothers Daniel and James Lasky, nephew Mark Lasky and aunt Sophia Mizera. Kathy was born and raised in Binghamton. She graduated from Binghamton Central High School and worked for many years as a beautician, owning her own beauty salon. She loved the beach, playing Bingo, taking trips to various casinos and spending time with family and friends, especially laughing with AJ and Lauren. She spent the last few years living with Hope, where they reminisced and shared favorite memories and funny stories about the early years growing up together. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano will officiate. Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Kathy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the charity of one's choice.
