Ann Tierney Quinn, 92, of Binghamton NY died peacefully on July 1, 2022. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Edmund J. Tierney and Cecilia Ring Tierney of Susquehanna PA and Binghamton NY. Ann is survived by her husband of 67 years, the love of her life and best friend, Robert "Bob" Quinn, her children Patrick (Jacqueline); Greg (Lauren); Sister Kelly Quinn, IHM; Kathryn (Peter) Flanagan and Marnie Coyle. Ann was the proud grandmother of Tierney (Dylan) Repko; Devan (Steve) Maniates; Kevin Quinn, Liam Flanagan, Claire Flanagan, Elizabeth Coyle and Quinn Coyle and great grandmother of Maeve and Carlin Repko. Ann is also survived by dear friend Mary Stark who has been like family for many years. Ann is predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Thomas Westfall, Patricia and Jack Joseph, Kay and Edward Holub, otherwise known as "The Tierney Girls", and son-in-law, Robert Coyle. Ann was a longtime volunteer for Lourdes Hospital, Broome County Mental Health, Samaritan House and St. Patrick's Church. Ann's passion was decorating the altar at St. Patrick's. Ann was blessed with a devoted family, as well as an extended family of friends which included her childhood friends, gourmet group and lake friends. Ann and Bob set an amazing example for their children through their love and devotion. She will be dearly missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Sisters of the IHM, Development Office, 2300 Adams Avenue, Scranton PA 18509.
