Margaret Donoghue Smith, "Peggy," 91 of Binghamton, died on December 29, 2021 at Good Shepherd Village. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Warren Greenwood Smith, her son Mark Smith, daughter Cynthia Smith, and great-grandson, Liam Bascle. She is survived by her brother Kevin Donoghue (Ellen), 9 living children: Chris Smith (Angela), Anne Gleason (Pat), Warren Smith (Maria), Meg Smith, Stevie Smith, Suzy Kitchen (Brent), John Smith (Andrea), Matt Smith (Ashley), Chip Smith, daughter-in-law Loma Smith-Weber, 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Village Endwell for the extraordinary care given to Peg for the last 7 years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton Thursday at 12 noon. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Catholic Charities of Broome County, 232 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
