Obituary of Cynthia A. Kuhnen

Cynthia "Cindy" Kuhnen, 69, of Binghamton, New York passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Constance Kuhnen and a special Aunt and Uncle, Chris and Fred Meagher. She is survived by her brothers Richard (Laura) Kuhnen and Frederick (Anne) Kuhnen, both of Binghamton. Also, nephews and nieces Jenna McMahon, Brehan and Hilarie McMahon – Hare, Shane Kuhnen, Amelia and Josh Moss, Alex Kuhnen, and Caity Kuhnen. Also surviving her are her Aunt Chris and Steve Zimrick, cousins, Rob, Wendy, Christopher and the entire Meagher family. Also, great nephews Liam, Luke and great niece Cecelia. Cindy attended Binghamton schools through 9th grade and then graduated from high school at Broadly Hall in Westchester, NY. She then graduated from Harriman College, Harriman, NY with a degree in early child education. Cindy spent her entire career (40 years) in banking, starting with the Binghamton, Savings Bank and ending with M and T Bank where she made many friends; both co – workers and customers! Cindy loved people, animals (her two furry friends, Sheba and Princess) and her garden! She was a constant caregiver to many neighbors and friends throughout the years. She loved to bake her famous chocolate chip cookies and share them with her special people throughout her life! Her closest friends include Mike and Sissy Rusin + Family, Betsy Wilson, Nancy Campbell, Nancy George and Family, Pat Kaminsky and so many more! A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnson City, in the spring. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church, Thursday, December 30, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
