Muriel was so welcoming from the very first day I started working at the Phelps Mansion Museum. She never missed my birthday and she would occasionally call to see how my studies were going.
She always talked about her family and how proud she was of them. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Muriel was a wonderful inspiration to all who knew her. She never failed to call both Bob and I and my mother on birthdays, holidays, and with news about mutual friends. She faithfully kept us informed concerning happenings in Church and Binghamton whenever we were away. She was very proud of Scott and her grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott and family at this time.
Sincerely, Bob and Nancy Walter
