Roberta Puglisi passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2021 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph Chura and Matilda Zayac Chura, her brother Rudy, sister-in-law, Patricia Chura, most recently her precious grandson, Matthew Porcino and many other in-laws who were dear to her heart. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 69 years, Donald Puglisi, her loving daughters, Carol (Marty) Porcino, Susan (Bob) Pastor, Brenda Schaar, and Lori (John) Flynn. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Scott (Sarah) Schaar, Rob and Nick Pastor, Connor (fiance', Ashley), Donovan and Evan Flynn, and her first great grandchild, Winston Schaar. She is also survived by her brother, David (Nancy) Chura, sister-in-law, Dolores (Don) Morgan, God-daughter, Kate (Rich) Lynch, their son, Keegan, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbi was born in Johnson City, NY on September 5, 1930 and graduated from Johnson City High School. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her. She was a woman of faith, attended daily mass and developed many wonderful friendships throughout her life. Bobbi had a gift for making holidays extra special and truly enjoyed decorating and hosting in her beautiful home. We will miss you forever but take comfort in knowing that your grandson, Matthew, will be greeting you with open arms in Heaven. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Tuesday at 12 noon. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Bobbi's memory may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
