Please accept our condolences. Seeing Jane’s picture brought back so many memories of “the old days on Murray Hill Rd”. Your Mom was a gracious generous lady. So sorry we were not able to attend the services this morning.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. My sister, Janice and I grew up next door to the Suttons on Chatham Road in Endwell. Jim and I were friends and I spent a lot of time in their home. I especially remember going there on Friday nights for supper, because they were having pizza and it was potato pancakes at my house. Mrs. Sutton was a wonderful lady, I always felt welcome in her home. I visited even after they moved to Vestal. John Haus

Our condolences to your whole family. Your Mom was the last one of her generation. My guess and it is probably not exact was there were about 30+ or - first cousins in the Fitzgerald family. Your Mom was a very sweet lady and I am sure a great loss to your family. I am sure there is a big Fitzgerald reunion in heaven.

My family moved two houses from the Suttons in 1971 when I was 13. I became friends with Rick and spent countless hours at their home over the next five years. Jane & Richard became like second parents to me. Jane would always ask me to stay for lunch ,or supper, or a dessert. There was always a game of ping pong going on and people coming and going . Jane created a welcoming environment and the Sutton house was the place to be as a teenager. I never saw Jane or Richard upset. They always seemed to be in a good mood sipping on a cold one.Jane had alot of energy even after raising 6 children. I joked with her years later that I was like her 7th ! I am so glad that I got to visit with her about a year ago in Colorado and talk about old memories."Mrs Sutton " was a wonderful lady and I am better for growing up around her !
