Joan Carr Reed (11/28/61- 2/4/21) With the heaviest of hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved Joan. Against insurmountable odds, Joan fought with all of her might. Joan was many things; A fighter, a warrior, a beacon of light for everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. But above everything, she was the best, most wonderful mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Joan was predeceased by her parents James and Florence Carr and father-in-law Samuel Reed. She is survived by her beloved husband Terry, and favorite son Tyler. Siblings: Patrick(Jodi) Carr, Kathleen (Michael) DiFulvio, Christine (Paul) Donovan, Kevin (Andrea) Carr, Peggy (Michael) Wager, Joe (Kelly) Carr, Mother-in-law Josephine Reed, Brother-in-law Shaun Reed, sisters and brother-in-law Doreen (Tim) Taylor, Maureen Reed, as well as many nieces and nephews. Joan was an avid New York Giants fan and lived to entertain her family and friends every Sunday during football season. She lived her life to the fullest, loved hard, never gave up hope, and always believed. She can now relax, breathe easy, and sleep peacefully. Smooches forever~ ??
