Obituary of Carlet J. Saint-Phard

On Sunday, November 22, 2020, Carlet J Saint-Phard, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 68 of natural causes. Carlet was born on April 25, 1952 in Port-au-Prince Haiti to Carlo Joseph and Marie Theresa Amelia St Phard. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1981, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1990. On December 14, 1975, he married Marie Carmel Joseph whom he met on a double date while they were undergraduate students, and they raised two children together. Blessed with insatiable curiosity and exceptional appetite for life, Carlet was passionate about many things, and encouraged his children to seize every opportunity to learn, to feel the beat in every song, and to savor every last bite. Carlet was preceded by his father and his mother. He is survived by his wife, Marie, his children, Jerry (Elka) and Cassandra, his granddaughter Margaux, his brother Carlo Jr, and his sisters, Marie Nicole, Margarette, Gina, and Carline, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private service was held on Monday November 30, 2020 arranged by J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home of Binghamton, NY and Carlet was laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum in Johnson City, NY.
