Obituary of John E. Mills

This gentle hearted loving man quietly passed away on December 21st 2020. John was born on July 4, 1931 in Binghamton, New York. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Julia Mills; his brothers Paul and Robert and his sister- in- law Rose (Mollo) Mills. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Beverly (Mollo) Mills, his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Beverly Mills; his sisters Maude Adams and Nancy Canaday; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joseph and Ann Marie Mollo and Angelo and Mary Lou Mollo; and many nieces, nephews and friends. John served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He is a retired employee of Raymond Corporation. John and Beverly enjoyed dancing with their square dancing group "The Shuffling Shoes". He was one of the founding members of the Kattelville Athletic Association (KAA). Along with being an avid softball player, John played in several Senior Olympic Softball Tournaments. A private gathering of immediate family will be held on Monday December 28th at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, NY where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
