Obituary of Dennis P. Frawley

Dennis Paul Frawley of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2020 after a short illness. He was born on April 29, 1950 in Binghamton, NY. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Frawley; son James Frawley. He was predeceased by his parents John Frawley and Helen (Conrad) Frawley. Dennis graduated from Binghamton North High in 1968 and then studied at Broome Tech part time before going to work for the State of New York at Binghamton Psychiatric Center and then going on to work at Broome Developmental Center where he retired as Head Cook in 2005. Dennis's hobbies were going fishing and camping on Oneida Lake and the St. Lawrence River. He also enjoyed bowling in several leagues in the area. His biggest thrill was traveling to several USBC Senior Masters Bowling Tournaments around the country. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at UHS Oncology and Radiation Department and Lourdes Hospital and Hospice Care, as well Linda Cerra and her staff at Mercy House of The Southern Tier. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Court Street, Binghamton, Monday, December 21, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations be sent to Mercy House of The Southern Tier, 212 N.
