Obituary of Janet A. Brown

Janet Mahoney Brown, 86, of Binghamton passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Noel and her son Timothy. Survived by her family, Cindy & Jerome Reardon, Susan Brown, Ellen Brown, all of Binghamton, Maura & Thomas Turner of West Hartford, CT; 7 Grandchildren, Christina Brown, William (Amy) Reardon, Kate (Jim) Desimone, Patrick (Celeste) Reardon, Dylan, Kara & Ali Turner; 7 Great Grandchildren; Jack, Charley,Sydney, Declan, Shae, Maeve and Kensley. Janet was a lifetime devoted member of the Church of Saints John & Andrew, Binghamton. Her top priority was family. She had a career as an office manager in the medical field and was a dedicated volunteer for numerous church organizations. She was proud of her Irish heritage, enjoyed travel and an avid Notre Dame fan. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John & Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Wednesday, December 16 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parish of St. John & Andrew Improvement Fund, 7 Livingston Street, Binghamton, NY 13903 or Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, 1262 Mill Street, Binghamton, NY 13903.
