James Michael O'Neil, 76, of Binghamton, passed away May 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anna O'Neil, his in-laws, Robert and Margaret Shea, his sister-in-law, Joanne Hart and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Judy (DeWitt) O'Neil; his brother John (Bonnie) O'Neil; his sister, Marjorie (Joseph) Matturro; his nephews, Gary Kevin (Kathleen) Hart and Jeffrey Hart; his nieces, Kristen (David) Ford, Ann (William) Gault, Christine (Billy) McLaughlin, Tracy (Tony) Ambrosi; his loyal companion "Murphy" and by many friends and golf buddies. He was born in Binghamton on November 13, 1943 and graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1961. He attended B.C.C. and served in the Army National Guard. He worked at local Ford and Buick dealerships for 42 years. He enjoyed trips to Florida, the beach, golfing and watching the Yankees. A special thanks to Dr. Steven Spivak and to Dr. Ronald Harris and to the nurses at Broome Oncology and Lourdes Hospice. Due to the current health crisis, a private Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton.
