Obituary of Joan M. Moseng

Joan Kenesky Moseng, 80, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Moseng; and her parents, Frank and Anna Kutniewski. She is survived by her sons, Scott Thiele, Binghamton, Mark Thiele; her sister, Carol Duntley, CA; her brother, Donald Kenesky, Bristol, NY; three nieces, Kathy, Barbara and Kerrie; and her feline companion, "Boot". She was a graduate of Binghamton North High School and retired from SUNY at Binghamton. She was active with the American Legion Post 89 in Vestal and a member of the Town of Binghamton Historical Society. She loved nature and often took drives through the countryside to view wildlife. Some of her favorite trips were whale watching off Cape Cod and visiting her son Scott in Southeast Utah and Yellowstone National Park. Graveside services will be held at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Friday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Msgr. Michael T. Meagher will officiate.
