Mary Lenox Sullivan, 98, of Binghamton, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1915 to Anna and Lasco Lenox in Simpson, PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy J. (1997); grandsons, Robert S. Sullivan and Joseph P. Sullivan; great-grandson, Michael Brown; her brothers, Frank, John, Steve, Earl; sisters, Ann, Catherine, Esther, and Helen. She is survived by three sons, Timothy M. (Carol), Francis E. (Bertie), William T. (Gloria) and their families. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Swincicki. Mary was a current member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, and formerly of St. Paul's, a member of the Fireman's Women's Auxiliary, a past employee of McLean's Dept Store. Mary was a woman of deep faith and strength and she loved her extended family and was proud of each and every one of them. The family would like to thank the staff of the former Vestal Nursing Center and currently The Willow Point Vestal Park Nursing Home for their kindness, compassion, and care of our mother over the past four years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Ave., Binghamton, Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, at Mary's request, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Broome County Program
