Obituary of Carmen J. Vetrino

Carmen J. "Jimmy" Vetrino, 80 of Binghamton, died Monday October 7, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Vetrino, his parents and several sisters and brothers. He is survived by a sister, Edith Bealo; brother-in-law, Arthur Farneti; and sister-in-law, Marie Vetrino, all of Binghamton; and a large circle of family and friends who loved him dearly. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. Jimmy was a retired planner for Singer-Link; a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He loved his food and traveling. Uncle Jimmy was everyone's uncle. He had a huge heart and would help whomever he could! A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Women's Abbruzzese will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Jimmy may be made to the American Cancer Society , Southern NY Region, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790.
