Obituary of Anne L. Crimmins
Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anne L. Crimmins, 91, died Monday, January 28, 2019. She was the youngest of six children born to Luke A. and Catherine E. Crimmins, both of whom predeceased her. Anne's four sisters, Marie C. McMahon, Catherine T. Osborn, Isabelle A. Crowe and Margaret E. McElwain, as well as her brother Edward J. Crimmins also predeceased her. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was employed by a local prominent physician, Dr. Waldemar H. Boldt for forty-two years until his death in 1988. Anne faced many challenges throughout her life with grace and dignity and an ever present sense of humor. She had a ready smile and a keen sense of style and was seldom seen not wearing one of her many hats. Her love of dogs was apparent to all who knew her and for many years she shared her life with MacTavish ("Mac"), Katy and Fancie, her beloved Cairn Terriers, and her "best friends". Anne took great pride in her home-and boy! Could she cut grass and shovel snow. Anne was a parishioner her entire life at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Court Street, Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Church, Friday from 9 until 9:30 a.m.
