Rest in peace, Kathy. Thank you for the friendship starting at the Greenlawn Elementary cafeteria in Bainbridge-Guilford. Thank you for your being able to pick up the conversation right where we left off, even if there were many years between those conversations. You were the fire, the light and the beacon of hope. You inspired many. We keep your loved ones close as we mourn your passing. Godspeed. And our apology that we are unable to make the calling hours or funeral.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. She worked in the cafeteria at the Greenlawn School in Bainbridge when I was teaching there. I remember her as always being good humored and pleasant. It was obvious that she enjoyed the children and her job. My condolences to her entire family.

Larry and family,

Kathy had been on my mind alot lately, that's just a special connection friends have even miles apart, when one of our heart hurts we both hurt. So glad we were able to stay connected thru our yearly Christmas cards, then facebook,then later thru your Caring Bridge page. I have many fond memories of us, from growing up upstairs from us in Warwick, to then later living with us to finish out high school.Sending this with my condolences to the family, just know she is ALWAYS with you ,and no longer in pain. The love you showed us was beyond measure. The love you had for Catrina was remarkable. You were with us for so many of her big milestones. If it weren’t for you I would have cried my eyes out on her first day of Kindergarten. When Trina and I brought Kaleb home you were there with us a week later helping us get adjusted to a having him. You helped me with so much. 14 years of memories I could go on about. 95% of them were wonderful the other 5% were because I was too prideful to accept that you were just trying to help me out. I watched you grow from a baby to a beautiful strong woman,yes we drifted apart but don't think you were ever forgotten you were thought and talked about many times especially when Diana was alive. I'm so glad we reconnected recently and got to chat some but also sad at the short time it was I'm glad your battle is finally over but will miss you.
