Obituary of Patricia Mae Cisek

Patricia M. "Patsy" Cisek (Rogers) 79, of Binghamton, NY passed away December 31, 2018 surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Victor Cisek; Parents Mary and E. Bernard Rogers; her brother Patrick Rogers, and sister-in-law Ellouise Rogers. She is survived by her children Cheryl Fragnito (Rick), Texas; Scott Cisek, Binghamton; Michelle Kinstle (Michael), California, and Michael V. Cisek (Maria) of Pennsylvania. Siblings Shirley Dennison(Joseph), NY; Francis Rogers(Sandra),VA; Thomas Rogers, NY; Kathryn Ekstrand,NY. Grandchildren; Michael B. Cisek, Timothy Bezouka, Rebecca Kinstle, Alex and Aiden Cisek. Step grandchildren, Elizabeth VanNostrand (Blake), and Dominick Fink; Also a special niece/goddaughter, Denise Dennison Foster. After retiring from Broome County Govt, Patricia enjoyed traveling to England, France, the various states her children lived in, as well as many day trip adventures with relatives. She had a love for animals, caring for the family pets throughout her life, and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her grand dogs at home and in Texas. She was known for her green thumb. She was passionate in caring for her plants and flowers, which brought her great pleasure The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Lourdes Hospice and Home Instead for their care of Patricia. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday January 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City, NY at a later date. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Saturday January 5, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. In Lieu of flowers , Expressions of sympathy in Patricia's memory may be made to Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave, Binghamton NY 13903
