Obituary of Margaret (Layton) Longo

Margaret (Layton) Longo, 88, of Honesdale, PA finished her circle of life Monday, November 26, 028 after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (Osborne) Layton. Originally from Equinunk, PA, she resided in the Binghamton/Vestal area most of her life. She retired from the NY Telephone Company after 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Vito, in 2000. Also her sister, Kathryn Cousins (Honesdale, PA) and Mary Daly (Hartford, CT). She is survived by nieces and nephews. Her sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Mass will be offered at ST. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Saturday at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday from 8:30 am. until 9:30 a.m.
