Obituary of Constance L. Lowery

Constance L. Lowery, 81, Binghamton, NY died peacefully at 9:23 a.m. on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded by her husband of thirty years, Peter L. Lowery. She is survived by her four daughters, Brigid Lowery, Alexandria, VA, Elizabeth Lowery-Virgen, Sacramento, CA, Barbara Lowery, Binghamton, NY and Maire Lowery, Binghamton, NY; two sons Peter Lowery Jr., Binghamton, NY and Daniel Lowery, Binghamton, NY; her sons-in-law John Virgen and Richard Schleider; her grandchildren Lantz Virgen, Alexandria Lowery, Jenna Virgen; her sister Diane Baughman, sister-in law Julia Lowery, brother-in-law Clarence Fitch; and several nieces and nephews. Connie grew up in Flint, MI. where she worked as a telephone operator and sang on the radio. After her marriage to Peter the family moved to Rochester, NY, Detroit, MI, Binghamton, NY and Boblingen, Germany. She attended parish of Saints John and Andrews Church, Binghamton. She retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Connie was known for her kind and welcoming heart. She loved to laugh and her favorite times where when she was with her family and friends. The family wishes to express deepest gratitude to family and friends whom helped us through these past difficult years and the staff at Lourdes at Home Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Connie may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 441 W.
