Beverly Mahoney, 89 formerly of Brackney, Pa., loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to join the Lord Friday June 8, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Iva Baker, loving husband, Thomas Gerard Mahoney; four brothers, two sisters; son-in law Radley Cooper, and three grandchildren Sarah, Nathan, and Rachel. Beverly leaves behind her one brother Dale Baker (Beatrice),nine daughters: Maureen Allen (Robert), Maryellen Surace (Michael), Anita Gabriel (Charles), Denise DiCocco (Robert), Geraldine Beane (Thomas), Bernadette Kanna (Mark), Patricia Murray, Julieanne Mahoney, and Kelly Collett (John), 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Beverly was retired from the US Post Office. She belonged to St Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, PA. She was a creative homemaker, gardener and seamstress. She loved children and her family. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Fairview for their love and care. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, PA., Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, PA. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Beverly's memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Communities Foundation, 32 Village Drive, Endwell, NY 13760 or to the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Squad.
