Paul J. Grogan, 89, of Binghamton, died April 28, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Great Bend, PA. and was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara; his parents Lawrence and Mary Grogan; his brothers Leonard, Gerald and Kenneth. He is survived by his wife Arlene (Sue); his sons Mark (Andrea) Grogan, Kevin Maney (Kristin), David Maney (Kate) and Scott Maney as well as thirteen grandchildren. Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from General Electric after 39 years. He was an outstanding athlete during his prime. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Great Bend, PA. at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Paul's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central New York Chapter, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
