Josephine "Dolly" DeLamarter, age 83, of Conklin, NY, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018. Born April 19, 1934 in Binghamton, NY, Josephine was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Patterson (Bucknavage). She was employed as a bookkeeper for various non-profit organizations, most recently in the billing department for the Town of Conklin. Josephine was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Binghamton. She was predeceased in death by her son John DeLamarter, sisters Marion McKane, Elizabeth Pastor and brother George Patterson. Josephine is survived by children Susan (Michael) Roehm, Jayne (Francis) Walker, Thomas DeLamarter, JoAnn (Michael) Cenedella, Charles (Tracy) Kusterbeck, daughter-in-law Theresa DeLamarter, and her brother, Matthew Murphy, She was loved and adored by her 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and faithful companion "Maggie". Funeral Services will be held in the Tower of Memories, Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Monday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Jon Werner, her Pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Tower of Memories from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital,125 S. 9th Street, Suite 600, Philadelphia, PA 19017 (Giving@jefferson.edu) or Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
