Obituary of Mary E. Cable

Mary (Knebel) Cable, 53, of Binghamton, went to be with the Lord Friday April 6, 2018. She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Wilma Knebel. She is survived by her husband Christopher Cable, her children Alexandria and Christopher Cable; her brothers Chester (Judy), Mark (Cindy) and Jerome Knebel; her niece Melissa; her nephews Chester, Nicholas, Trevor and Zachary; an Aunt Elizabeth Antoni; many cousins and her pet companion, "Tobias". Mary had a passion for education and had advanced college degrees. She had a kind heart and was a very generous person. She leaves behind many special friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Clinton Street, Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Mary's memory may be made to The Humane Society, 167 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903 or to Catholic Charities of Broome County, 232 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
