Dear Family of Tony,
I worked with your dad at BPC in the 80's. As a new social worker, Tony was one of the team of social workers that mentored me. Your dad was a bit eccentric. He would bring a pile of contest forms to fill out at meetings---I remember he actually won a car one time. He had an old typewriter he used for his reports and letters to the editor. It was distinctive due to the raised "r" that gave him away when he tried to remain anonymous at times. I remember seeing he and your mom at many cultural events over the years. They were such a loving couple with so many shared interests, including each of you.
When I will remember Tony I will remember a man who was passionate about social justice, his patients, his community, the arts, his wife and each of you.
I am sorry for your loss and that I was unable to meet each of you at his memorial. I wish you all the best.
