Obituary of Laurie B. O'Neil

On the evening of March 19th, 2018, our heavens received a new angel and our sky another star. Our Laurie Beth passed away surrounded by her family and now reunited with those she missed so dearly. Laurie is pre-deceased by her Mom and Dad (Faye and Ed) her love, Steve, and her Grandparents who she loved so deeply. Surviving Laurie are her brothers and sister, Mike (Lona) O'Neil, Bill (Liz) O'Neil and Kathy (Bob) Degnan along with her nieces and nephews: Katie, Todd, Brad, Tyler, Travis, Meagan and her great nephew Cameron Robert who cared for and loved her unconditionally. Laurie was also blessed and loved by her Aunts, Uncles, cousins and incredible friends, especially Dave Henry. Remember Laurie for her kind, sweet and big beautiful heart, her sense of humor and that amazing laugh we all will so miss. What is lovely never dies but passes into other loveliness. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott, Saturday at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Laurie's memory may be made to the Ed O'Neil Scholarship Fund at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church or The Humane Society, 167 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903 in honor of her Shammie.
