Obituary of Daniel Barron

Daniel Barron, 55, of Endicott, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Rosemary Fitzgerald Barron and his brother Thomas R. Barron, Jr. Dan is survived by his sisters and brothers, Patricia (David) Harnan, Mary (Timothy) Foley, Elizabeth (David) DiLello, John (Michelle) Barron, Timothy Barron, and James (Donna) Barron; many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and best friend Brian Dengler, who was like a brother to him. Dan graduated from Seton Catholic Central, SUNY BCC, Binghamton University and studied Gerontology at the University of South Australia. Before retirement, Dan worked at Elderhostel, Inc. He was a long-term caregiver for his severely disabled friend, Harry, who he treated with great compassion and dignity. Beloved brother and friend, we miss you. A private Memorial mass will be held at the family's convenience at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier or American Diabetes Association.
