Obituary of Matilda J. DeSando

Matilda J. (Mati) DeSando of Endwell NY passed away on January 7, 2018 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Matilda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Philip W DeSando. Her mother and father, John and Jane Zarilli De Maio; two brothers, Joe and Jim De Maio; three sisters, Lucy Montabono, Ann Gallo, Angela "Lena" Sawko, and a niece, Jane De Maio. Matilda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Philip and Candice DeSando, and only granddaughter Samantha DeSando, who was the love of her life. She is also survived by her one sister, Rosemary Fariel, in Boca Raton Florida, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Avenue, Endicott, Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
