Julia Eileen Gallagher, 95, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Gallagher; her sisters, Teresa Feheley, Virginia Byrnes, Florence Day; brothers, Joseph and Robert Conlon; in-laws, Marge and Jerry Hughes, John Cox; and son-in-law, Wayne D. Falkenberry. She is survived by her children, John F. Gallagher Jr., Ann Falkenberry, Mark Gallagher, Mary E. Gallagher and Lupe Gamino; grandchildren, Eric and Kristin Falkenberry, Sara and Eric Ridder, Megan Gamino; great-grandchildren, Eric and Oliver Ridder; brothers-in-law, William and Josephine Gallagher, William Byrnes; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gallagher Cox; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. Eileen was an avid golfer and bowler. She was a retired Real Estate agent for Gallagher Real Estate and attended Marywood University and Pratt Institute of Design. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Eileen may be made to L.P.G. Foundation Fund c/o Seton Catholic Central High School, 70 Seminary Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13905.
