Obituary of Jean M. Connerton

Jean Connerton, 91 years old, died peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Fairview Good Shepherd, Binghamton, New York. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, John Connerton and infant daughter, Jane. Jean is survived by her daughter, Rita, her children, Chloe and Claudia Kotchick; her son, John, his children, Jake (Cynde) and Drew Connerton and month old great grandson, John IV. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Johnson, sisters-in-law Lillian Carros, Betty Carros and Rosemary Connerton as well as nieces and nephews. Jean was a bank teller at First City National Bank, Courthouse Square for 25 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. She loved to sew and garden. She took a walk every day that she could with her dog or Rita's. She loved her porch on Crary Avenue and a Manhattan with the girls. The family thanks the staff at Good Shepherd-Fairview Home for their loving care of Jean during the last three years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
