Obituary of Sally L. Libous

Sally L. Libous of Endwell, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt passed away peacefully, Monday, July 29, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is now with our Lord. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, F. Joseph Libous; daughters, Cathy Libous, Mary Ellen and Howard Rosenberg; grandsons, Sam and Jack who were her pride and joy; sisters, Mary Anne and Tony Ruspantini and Ellen A'Hearn-Johnston; aunt, Mary Yaman, Cortland; many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Sally was predeceased by her parents, Mark and Helen Tozer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, George and Alice Libous and sister-in-law, Barbara Jurena Libous. She was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. Sally retired from Chase Manhattan Bank after sixteen years, Binghamton Savings Bank and coordinator for Broome County Heart Assoc. She was past president of St. John's Rosary Confraternity and a member of the American Women's Assoc. She enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening. The family wishes to thank Mary Mancini and Dr. Joseph Readling. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home,141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Sally may be made to Church of Saints John and Andrew, 7 Livingston St., Binghamton, NY 13903 or the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St. Johnson City, NY 13790.
