Obituary of Robert J. O'Loughlin

Robert J. O'Loughlin, 90, of Binghamton died Friday September 1, 2017 at the Veterans Home at Oxford. He was predeceased by a son Kevin and his brothers Thomas and Gerald O'Loughlin. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbara Butler O'Loughlin; his children Robert and Nancy O'Loughlin; Patricia and William Matolka; Michael O'Loughlin; Mark and Jane O'Loughlin; Gary and Kelly O'Loughlin, Timothy and Robin O'Loughlin; Thomas and Elizabeth O'Loughlin; a daughter-in-law Ann O'Loughlin; seventeen grandchildren and two great grand children; a sister Ann Marie Crawford and a brother Arthur O'Loughlin. He was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton where he was very active. He was a retired 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired after 25 years with Singer-Link. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Robert's name may be made to any charitable organization.
