Obituary of Marjorie A. Parkhurst

Marjorie A. Parkhurst, 86 , of Hillcrest, Died Saturday May 6, 2017 at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Robert L. Parkhurst and her sister Barbara A. McCormack. She was a loving mother to her children Kathleen Parkhurst, David and Luann Parkhurst and Thomas Parkhurst and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren Christine, Tyler and Travis Parkhurst. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers, her neighbors on Dale Court and her cat "Buddy". She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest. She was a retired employee of Anitec Corporation and was a long time member of the Downtown Singers. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10 a.m., Deacon Stephen Blabac will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Margie's name may be made to any charitable organization.
