Karen A. McMahon, 68, of Binghamton died Sunday January 8, 2017 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Elizabeth McMahon. She is survived by her sister Maureen and Al Rose, Alamo, CA; her brother James and Gail McMahon, Greene; nieces and nephews; Thomas and Michelle McMahon, Michael and Natalie McMahon, Heather and Chris Rice, Megan and Eric Zvonkovich, Jay and Melissa Rose; several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a member of the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton and a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1966 and a graduate of Keuka College class of 1970. She was the Director of Human Resources at BOCES for 23 years; former Director of Advertising at Raymond Corp. She served on the Board of Directors for United Methodist Homes; the Hospice Board at Lourdes Hospital and the Board of AVRE. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Karen's name may be made to the Lourdes Hospital Foundation, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
