Obituary of Rita E. Rhodes

Rita Elizabeth Rhodes, 85 of Binghamton died Monday October 31,2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Elizabeth Rhodes and her brother Jack Rhodes. She is survived by her son Arthur Stewart; her grandchildren, Adam and Courtnay Stewart, Ryan and Lydia Stewart, Emily Stewart; seven great-grandchildren Brooke, Lance, Trevor, Sawyer, Laylah, Caleb, Joel; special friend, Kathy Donnelly; her brother Edward F. Rhodes. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Rita retired from UHS in 1993. During her time there she made many close and dear friends. She was a cat lover. A Funeral Mass will be offered in the Chapel of St. Patrick's Church, corner of Oak and Leroy Streets, Binghamton Friday at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Patrick's Church Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Rita may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN. 38101-9929.
