Alexander "Al" Ciulla of Binghamton passed away in his home Sunday, October 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Alexander was eighty-two years old and succumbed after a brief illness. Alexander was born in Garfield, NJ in 1934 and attended St. Michael's College in Vermont where he studied accounting. He then attended Riders' College where he met his beloved wife of 52 years, Nancy Matthews. A proud veteran of the Korean War, Alexander owned and operated a successful lock and key service in the Binghamton area for 30 years. Al and Nancy were extremely proud of the family they created. He is survived by his son Thomas Ciulla and his wife Karen and grandson Daniel, daughter Debra and husband Nidal Blaibleh and grandchildren, Rania and Basam, son James Ciulla and wife Catherine and grandchildren Caroline, Ian and Erika, daughter Laura and husband John Wueste and grandchildren, Emily and Alexander, son Jeffrey and wife Kelly and grandchildren Nathan and Casey. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Wednesday at 11 a.m. Reverend Corey S. VanKuren, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the American Heart Association .
