Obituary of Marion L. (Fitzpatrick) Krupitza
Please share a memory of Marion to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marion Krupitza (Fitzpatrick), 94, died Sunday, September 4, 2016. She was predeceased by husbands Joseph Fitzpatrick and Alois Krupitza, siblings Barbara, Frederick, and David Baldwin, and her son J. Michael Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Steve) Pollack, son Ronald (Donna) Fitzpatrick, and grandchildren Jack (Robin) Cohn, David (Debra) Cohn, Debbie Cohn, Lori (Jeff) Post, Kelly (Bill) Diffendorf, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Jennifer Fitzpatrick. Additionally, Marion is survived by her great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and wonderful neighbors who always looked after her. Marion was a lifelong Binghamton resident, working at the Barn Restaurant from 1942-1967 until illness forced her to stop and become a full-time housewife and exceptional baker of cookies which she loved to share with everyone. The family would like to thank AnneMarie and the entire 3rd floor staff at Susquehanna Nursing for the professional, compassionate care that they gave her in her final days. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Thursday from 9-11 AM followed by a brief funeral service. Rev. Corey S. VanKuren will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
